The Wildlife Forensic Academy (WFA)
is a global organization dedicated to combating wildlife crime through specialized training, cutting-edge research, and awareness initiatives. The Academy operates across several international branches, each contributing uniquely to its mission:

Located in Cape Town, this physical training facility offers immersive, hands-on courses in wildlife forensics, crime scene management, and the investigation of illegal wildlife trade. It attracts university students and professionals from fields such as conservation, forensic science, criminology, and medicine. Students also have the opportunity to participate in internships, gaining practical experience in real-world settings and conducting research.

Serving as the Academy’s global headquarters, this branch oversees strategic direction, international partnerships, and program development.

In partnership with Clayton State University, the Academy has launched the Laker Wildlife Initiative Partnership. This collaboration focuses on raising funds to establish a state-of-the-art training facility in Atlanta, USA, further expanding WFA’s global reach.
